MBA · Human Resource Development
Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai
Graduate management education with a focus on people, organisations and human resource development.
I study how people learn, work and become—and I like turning those questions into things people can read, use, discuss, or experience.
My journey has moved through business school, corporate work, consulting, government, a neighbourhood retail counter and a growing collection of creative experiments. The connecting thread is curiosity about people.
I started in commerce, trained in management, and worked in organisations where plans, incentives and people meet. That led me toward a recurring question: why do human beings behave differently from how our models predict?
Later, working in my family’s retail business in Mehrauli brought that question much closer to everyday life. At a shop counter, decisions are not abstract. You see budgets, habits, trust and uncertainty play out in small transactions.
Over time, I began writing about organisational behaviour, learning, personal agency and human development. Some questions became independent research proposals. Others became essays, fragrances, or websites that let people interact with an idea rather than merely read about it.
It is an unconventional combination, but not a claim that every project is equally mature. I am comfortable describing something as an experiment when it is one.
Credentials matter, and so does describing them accurately. These are the formal and practical chapters behind the independent work.

I work independently across several fields. These are directions of inquiry and practice—not claims of institutional affiliation or finished scientific findings.
I explore the gap between intention and action, including the practical, social and emotional friction that can intervene.
Identity–Action Gap: proposed framework, not yet validatedExplore the inquiryI write about education, organisational behaviour, meaningful work and why developing people means more than measuring productivity.
Essays, reflections and research-informed argumentsRead the essaysThrough House of Venus, I experiment with fragrance as a craft and a way to express mood, memory and identity.
Independent creative practiceFind the fragrance worldsI build websites and small browser-based experiences, often using AI-assisted development, to make complex questions easier to explore.
Independent projects and prototypesExplore the projectsThere is a difference between an observation, a plausible interpretation and a demonstrated finding. I try not to disguise one as another.
People before metrics. Data can help us see patterns; it is not the full measure of a person.
Clarity over jargon. Good ideas should survive translation into ordinary language.
Craft over performance. Some work deserves to exist before it earns applause or revenue.
Revision over certainty. Changing a view in response to better evidence is part of the work.
I love music, especially hip-hop. I like exploring psychology and philosophy. I find small businesses endlessly revealing and scent-making surprisingly expressive. I enjoy building strange things on the internet and seeing whether they make someone think or smile.
Most of all, I am interested in lives that are allowed to change shape. A CV is useful. It just isn't the whole person.
